No doubt you
have by now seen the famous "Gouldian Drinking"
photograph
of a
male Red Headed Gouldian finch drinking at Officer’s
Waterhole, which was taken at the Australian Wildlife
Conservancies’ Mornington Wildlife Sanctuary in Western
Australia on the 17th of August, 2002.
After all it IS the logo for the entire Save
The Gouldian Fund!!!!
You may also be aware that the Fund has
been active in the United States over the past 12 months
in bringing the plight of the wild Gouldian to our
American counterparts.
Mainly through the efforts of Bill & Karen Van Patten we
have been able to reach a wide audience and, in
conjunction with their website business Fabulous
Finch, we are pleased to be able to offer all Fund
supporters an opportunity to grab a framed copy of this
photograph.
Originally an idea that Bill intended to use to raise
badly needed funds for the STGF it is now possible to
grab this photo here in Australia, as well as World
Wide!!
